One would think divorce would be easy after that, but not in the state she lives in.  She's now happily on her own with lessons learned and a bright future ahead of her...but it wasn't always this way. 

Our April 22nd show will focus on Deadbeat Dads and Moms, but with a twist.  Instead of bashing these absent parents who refuse to take responsibility for their offspring, we want to focus on the positive stories.  The parents who were "left behind" to pick up the pieces and make a life for themselves and their kids. 

Our first guest is Tamara Caputo.  At 6 feet tall, she had dreams to become a model, meet her prince charming, and live happily ever after.  She indeed met a seemingly wonderful man who promised her love forever.  As time went on they had 6 children and being married to "Prince Charming" became a nightmare as his personality changed and Tamara found herself in the fight of her life.  At one point she and the kids were forced to move out of the country to hide from the "evil government."  It was a long road, but in the end Tamara broke free with her children, found a truly wonderful man, and started a business together:  Newenglandwear.com

We also have a very special guest tonight, one of the top family law lawyers in the United States , Lisa Helfend Meyer in Los Angeles . She handles many of the country's top custody/alimony issues involving both celebrities and non-celebrities.  Ms. Meyer was a consultant to the highly regarded television show Family Law. Ms. Meyer has been interviewed by the Los Angeles Times, Court TV, Extra, Fox News, as well as other media and was featured in an hour long segment of 48 Hours regarding a complex contested adoption matter. Ms. Meyer was also named one of the top 50 divorce attorneys in Los Angeles in the Los Angeles Magazine. 

April 29th Show - A lot of people are guilty of emotionally manipulating or blackmailing their partner, and many more are victims of this petty crime.  Much of it may seem innocent enough or simply a bad habit; your guy ticks you off so you withhold sex.  Your guy threatens to leave and you threaten to A) kill yourself B) slash his tires C) post to Twitter about what a small penis he has D) never let him see the kids again E) all of the above.  If you're the one being emotionally blackmailed maybe your guy tells you that nobody else will want you because you're too fat, too thin, too old, too stupid, etc.  Perhaps he threatens violence or harm to himself.  All of these scenarios are meant to do one thing: Manipulate the person who isn't bowing down to the wishes of the other.

Tonight they'll be talking with Lynda Nicely, a regular woman who went from thinking her relationship was "love at first sight" to a regular nightmare.  Throughout her two and a half year relationship this guy fluctuated between belitting her and flushing her self-esteem down the toilet, to begging for forgiveness and declaring his ever-lasting love.  What's a girl to do?  We're nurturing creatures and want to love and be loved!  After some free counseling at the local domestic violence center, Lynda was armed with knowledge and power, and was strong enough to leave.

May 6th show - Whether you're in a second marriage or a long-term relationship, financial matters aren't as easy as it was your first time around.  When we're young we tend to share bank accounts and many times one partner will be in charge of paying the bills, etc.  Now more and more couples, especially those in midlife, tend to keep their assets separate (and their a**es covered!) 

When dating should you always go Dutch or just the first few times?  Afterward do you take turns or do you expect the man to pay for you?  What about dividing up the bills when you live together?  Who pays what and how to come to a compromise?  Or do you feel it's a man's job to take care of you?  We'd love to hear from you!

On June 3rd 8pm ET/5pm PT we'll be discussing the top marriage complaints men and women have and how to overcome them and compromise so your marriage doesn't end in divorce!  It’s no secret that more than 50% of all marriages end in divorce, but what issues lead up to the split?  Well, your Love Wranglers did some research online and found out that the things men complain to marriage counselors most are: Not enough sex, no recognition or support for being a good provider, being given a long list of “honey do” chores, and being nagged.
